These Terms are the contract between you and LLC TICHAT for the Tichat messenger. Please read them before you create an account. Prices on this site are informational. Paid checkout currently runs on the Russian product surface.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not register and do not use the Service.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not register and do not use the Service.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the Service to exchange messages, media, and other material with other people. The Service is in beta and is provided as is.
Website forms (the waitlist and the investor form) are not how you accept these Terms. Those forms use a separate, unticked consent, consent-en-1.0.
To register you must:
You are responsible for keeping access to your account. Actions taken with your account are treated as yours unless you have told us that someone else is using it.
Give accurate details and update them when they change. We are not responsible for what follows from details that are wrong.
One person, one account. Extra accounts used to dodge a limit or a block are not allowed.
You keep the rights in Content you post. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and transmit that Content only so the Service can deliver it to the people it is for. The licence ends when you delete the Content.
The Tichat software, design, name, and logo belong to LLC TICHAT. Do not use them without our written permission.
By posting Content you confirm that you have the rights you need and that posting it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Breaking this section can lead to an immediate block and to civil or criminal liability under the law that applies.
Do not use the Service to distribute:
You also must not:
You are responsible for Content you place in the Service and for what is done with your account. If the law requires us to provide information about an account to a competent authority, we may do so.
We are responsible for the infrastructure of the Service within the limits set by law and by section 9. We are not the author, editor, or publisher of Content that users create, and we are not responsible for that Content, except where the law says we are.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for:
The Service is in beta. We do not promise that it will be continuous or free of errors. If you use it during beta, you accept that risk.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. That includes liability for fraud, and for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where such a limit is forbidden. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence still apply.
We may suspend or block an account if:
If the block is not required by law, you may appeal to info@tichat.ru within 30 days of the block.
We may change these Terms. For a material change we will tell you at least 7 days beforehand, in the app or by email. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the new Terms, except where the law requires a fresh agreement.
You may delete your account in the app settings, or by emailing info@tichat.ru. Personal data is then deleted on the timetable in the Privacy Policy.
We may end the contract and delete the account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms or the law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation.
Please write to us first at info@tichat.ru. We aim to answer within 30 days of receiving a complaint.
If we cannot resolve it, the courts at the Company’s seat — Omsk, Omsk Region, Russian Federation — have jurisdiction, except where a law that protects you says you may sue somewhere else.
If you are a consumer in the EEA, the United Kingdom, or another country, mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence still apply. These Terms do not take those rights away, and you may bring a claim in the courts of your residence where that law gives you that right.
The figures below match the plans currently sold on the Russian product surface. On tichat.co they are informational, in Russian rubles. They are not a checkout and not an offer to charge a card on this website.
The current list of features is on tichat.co/pricing. We may change prices as described in section 13.7.
Current checkout is on the Russian product surface. You buy a paid plan in the Tichat app (Settings → Subscription), tied to your account phone number. YooKassa takes that payment for LLC TICHAT. tichat.co does not take card payments.
If you need to be billed outside that Russian checkout, email info@tichat.ru before you pay. We will tell you whether international billing is available and on what terms. Nothing is charged until those terms are confirmed.
A paid contract is formed when payment is successfully received by LLC TICHAT. Until then you are on the free Tichat plan.
On the Russian checkout, payments are taken by NCO YuMoney LLC (YooKassa). We do not store or process the full card number, expiry, or security code. Those details are handled by the payment partner.
We receive what we need to record the payment: status, amount, date, transaction id, and masked payment-method data if the partner sends it.
If you save a payment method on the Russian checkout, you agree that the Subscription renews: every month for a monthly plan, or every 12 months for a yearly plan, until you turn renewal off.
We will notify you at least 24 hours before a renewal charge, in the app and/or by email if the account has one.
You can turn renewal off at any time in the app: Settings → Subscription → Turn off auto-renewal. There is no fee for turning it off. Paid features stay available until the end of the period you already paid for.
If a renewal charge fails, we may retry within a reasonable time. You have a grace period of up to 3 days from the failed charge, during which paid features may stay on. After that, if payment still has not succeeded, the Subscription ends and the account returns to the free Tichat plan.
Email refund requests to info@tichat.ru. We will answer within a reasonable time.
Access is digital and starts as soon as payment succeeds. A refund may be proportional to the unused part of the period you paid for, except where mandatory law requires more. We record when paid features were made available. Mandatory consumer rights are not waived.
We may change Plan prices and which features are paid. If the price of a Subscription you already have will change, we will tell you at least 14 days before the new price applies. Keeping the Subscription after that, or a successful charge at the new price, means you accept the change.
Some paid features (further customisation, channels, analytics, an assistant, and others) may not be available on the day you pay. They are provided as they are released. A description on the pricing page is not a promise of a release date. We will keep the paid features that are already available on the Plan you bought.
When you pay through YooKassa, we send a fiscal receipt as required by Russian Federal Law No. 54-FZ, to the email on the account at the time of payment. Questions about receipts: info@tichat.ru.
After a successful payment you may be sent to tichat.co/payment-return so you can get back to the app. The Subscription does not depend on that page opening.
